Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Delivery Truck Driver responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers and designated locations. The role ensures proper vehicle maintenance, accurate handling of delivery items and documents, compliance with approved routes, and adherence to traffic, food safety, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accomplish the Daily Vehicle Maintenance Checklist for submission to the immediate Supervisor
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained in clean, safe, and roadworthy condition, including compliance with applicable NMIS and customer requirements
• Observe and comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Follow the approved delivery routing plan and coordinate any necessary route deviation with the immediate Supervisor
• Ensure that unauthorized passengers are not allowed inside the delivery vehicle
• Coordinate with the immediate Supervisor regarding trip schedules, delivery instructions, routes, and other requirements
• Check and count all items against delivery documents before departure to ensure completeness, accuracy, and good condition
• Safely transport and deliver products to assigned customers or locations within the required schedule
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery items when required
• Properly handle products during transport to prevent damage, contamination, loss, or delivery discrepancies
• Provide regular updates regarding delivery status and immediately report delays, vehicle problems, accidents, delivery issues, or other concerns encountered during operations
• Secure delivery documents, acknowledgments, and other required records upon completion of deliveries
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle before and after each trip
• Perform other driving, delivery, and operational duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor

Qualifications

• Male, 25 years old and above
• At least High School or Senior High School Graduate
• Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License with the appropriate restriction/code required for truck operation
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Truck Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar position
• Experienced in driving delivery trucks and handling delivery operations
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance
• Familiar with traffic regulations, road safety practices, and delivery procedures
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading and unloading when required
• Honest, responsible, reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to follow assigned routes, trip schedules, and delivery instructions
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and render overtime when required
• Must have no serious traffic violations or driving-related offenses
• Willing to undergo company training and comply with established policies and procedures
• Ability to start immediately is an advantage
